Hello,
Considering a week in Morocco around Thanksgiving week (end of November). Not as familiar with the country but I would love to visit Marrakesh, Essauira, Ouarzazat. At some point I'd love to see sand dunes on a camel as well. I am considering-
Nov 22, arrive in Marrakesh, spend day strolling around
Nov 23, tour Marrakesh
Nov 24, take a tour to Oaurzazat & Ait Ben Hoddou (not spend the night)
Nov 25, take a tour to the dessert (is this possible?)
Nov 26, spend half the day in Marrakesh, head east to Essaouira (night in Essauira)
Nov 27, Essauira
Nov 28, early morning head back to Marrakesh and fly back.

Is this doable? I wouldnt mind staying a night in Oaurzazat, but then I'd have to drive/bus 7/8hrs from there to Essaouira

Thoughts?

Sergey

My advise would be crossing the desert off from your list, the desert day trip can NOT be done in one day.

Hmm...I would love to somehow take a camel trek for a few hours in the sand dunes...any way I can make it happen?

Am afraid but you can not make it happen in one day, the alternative would be riding camel in either Marrakech or Essaouira, there is no sand dunes out there.

Can I take a day trip to the dunes and do a camel trek from Ouarzazat?
