This was downtown Chicago on Thursday. The famous My Chicago day on Thursday. Macy’s Christmas tree in the very famous Walnut Room restaurant. . This all screams Chicago. This used to be Marshall Fields and the tree was decorated as an ode to Marshall Fields this year. It’s the most beautiful department store and it is etched into my childhood memories. I had chicken pot pie there—again it’s famous. ( and good).
