From York to New York, I give you....Joseph Rowntree - the legacy of York's most famous son - I have seen first-hand the worth of progressive socialism. We should be proud of our history and of Joseph Rowntree. He gave more to his workers than any modern business could come close to. We all deserve decent housing, schools, doctors and healthcare. If that was true in his lifetime it is even more true today.
