Eric Carle painting his papers. His coat, shoes and broom on display. His cut and paste (and taping) of his art and notes for publishing. Seeing his fingerprint in the clear tape took my breath away. A bit like seeing an island of blank canvas in the midst of a Van Gogh painting. Both made me feel connected to the artist.
