Walking around the Lake I saw this Coot and family but I could not get a picture due to the thick reeds. So I took off my sandals ( I was wearing shorts) and waded into the water up to my knees and held the reeds apart with one hand while I too this picture. Five little Coots and Mother who did not like me getting this close.... Okay, okay I'm going.
