For anyone who isn't following on Instagram here is today's post. Stage 9 Aswan to desert camp. (no toilets or showers). 135km, have now passed the 1000km mark. Riding started early so all the rock throwing kids were still asleep. Turned southwest and headed into the Nubian desert. Top left photo was the view all day for 135km. The Egyptian police are escorting them through this stage and have had a vehicle at the front, middle and back of the riders. See armed policeman in top right photo.
