The human, bunny rabbit or whatever unfortunate creature may be hiding in the bed should henceforth be referred to as the leapee.
:-)

atilla, I respectfully disagree. I think the unfortunate creature in the bed should be referred to as "toast."

Some of you may be be wondering about the small box next to the bed that has a cord and multiple buttons to push. It was difficult for me to figure out what it was but I finally pushed enough buttons and then a person arrived at my door and was able to tell me that it is a communications device. I promptly asked the individual to lay prone on the bed so that I, the leaper, could decide which of the two flat fluffy body-size boxes to abide in. He was very accomodating. Now whenever I'm in such a fix I push a myriad of buttons and eventually an obliging person will arrive at my door. This is called room service.

meesthare: You must be clairvoyant! If I cannot find a quarter, I always call the psychic to help with major decisions. If for some reason, I cannot contact the psychic, I pull out my magic *8* ball - that without a doubt - never fails :-D

Leapee, toast, also know as "history".

While a bunny or human might move when the leaper screams "Yee-haw" the big, giant spider in my hotel room this past weekend did no such thing when I shocked to find out I had to share my room. Yet another good reason to wear sturdy shoes -- bug smashing.

re: q about white things - sorry, I was unclear, I think because of the PTSD I got from the white things - they were pretty big (scarier!!) and made of scarey cloth with loops in it.

You all have turned my Monday
around!
Thank you! Thank you!
=D>
Yet..I have some questions...
:-?
As many of you know from a previous post, I have a fear of those
"Magic Finger" devices and Meesthare has my head spinning about THIS
being the possible inanimate object
that has migrated from beneath the bed
to....**gasp**... under the covers.
=-O
Methinks a good "YeeHaw" would be of litle use (though quite fun!)in such a situation.
What's a girl to do...throw quarters at it????

Did anyone else hear that?

Marilyn Oct 4th, 2004 02:23 PM

razzle, I recommend a baseball bat. Of course, you will need one that fits in your check-in luggage as nowadays they won't let you on the plane with it in your carry-on.

Note to ncgrrl: works on spiders, too.

This thread was just referred to in another post I read, and I had such fun reading it (boring Saturday night:( ) that I have to bring it back to the top to share.
