Hi kodi, a car is not a must if you are only going to be on the strip the whole time. Since I stay downtown, I need the car so I can go back & forth to the strip. Also I need to go shopping at the malls + Trader Joes that are way off the strip AND out of downtown, and it is almost impossible to do a taxi for that.

Melissa, looks like you may have to party without me! I've almost made up my mind to go to Santa Fe.
Leburta, I'd love to come to Hawaii, but my frequent flyer points will only let me fly within continental North America. Thanks again everyone for the great suggestions. I'll definately add them to my 'future Christmas" list. Meesthare, I'll definately let everyone know how wonderful it is! |
awwww shucks, Kodi! Well, if you change your mind, you know where to find me!!

Santa Fe will be a wonderful place to spend Christmas!! You must drive up to Taos and see that town as well, very quaint. If you ski, there are resorts there too.
Can't wait to read your trip report! I know that you said you don't want to go a local church, but we saw some beautiful churches in Santa Fe and it would be really special to see a Christmas eve mass or service. Just a thought! Sounds beautiful and much more "real" and cultured than Vegas. Happy Planning! |
Thank you Beachkomer for the ideas. I appreciate them.
I'll post when I've actaully made my reservations, should be this week. I'm getting excited already. So I truly must be going to Santa Fe!! |
Yippee! I've actually booked my flight. Santa Fe here I come.
Christmas in Santa Fe sounds wonderful. |
