Atlanta is in full gushing Spring glory. EVERYTHING is in bloom - even the dogwoods. It seem as if everything just popped out in the last 3 days.

It was 89 degrees - summer heat in spring beauty. Absolutely glorious!

The wisteria popped out in the last 24 hours. There is a wisteria arch over the lane and all of a sudden, heavy purple blossoms overhead! Magical.

It is absolutely gorgeous here in Nashville. Dogwoods in bloom, tulips and daffodils. Trees are green or full of white or pink blooms. I have heard it said this is the most beautiful Spring in years. (Can't say as this is my first here). Oh and the weather is low to mid 70s with a breeze. :)

GA is gorgeous...as others have said. Need to mention the pollen index has been approaching 6000 (anything over 120 is HIGH).

Bring Claritin, Afrin, Kleenex, and your camera!

Oh sallyjane! I thought about you Georgians today. Over the weekend we talked to my aunt who lives there and she is so inundated she has not even cleaned her porch (If you knew her, you would know how drastic that is...she can spend all day cleaning a sink! LOL!) Anyway, we were in the Dr office and they had a stack of 'masks' for people to use if they had cold or flu symptoms. I wanted to grab one to sent to my aunt. Best wishes as you cope with this. We were last there when the 'love bugs' were plastering themselves to cars. There was a time when I wished I still lived there...this is the time when I'm enjoying being in Maryland. :) My daffies are blooming and my tulips are beginning to pop out.

Ah! Spring has sprung here in the north country with a nice fresh 5 inch coat of that white spring stuff and windchill below zero at noon. You'd love it here. Looks so Christmassy!

Last Sunday DH reported the layer of snow still on the trail in the woods made driving the jeep veddy interesting. More snow predicted tonight and, dang, DH has already taken the snowblower off the tractor. It will be rain/sleet turning to snow. ICKY!!!!

polly, my porch resembles your aunt's! Re: the love bugs, thank God they live well below my area...what nuisances!

I will be near your home this weekend...visiting DD in DC. She says to bring a camera and a COAT! Yikes.

sallyjane, we are expecting lows in the 20's for the next few days...this after 3 days with highs in the 80's. Poor little flowers! Your daughter is right. It's cold enough for a coat out there now. But don't forget the camera; it's still beautiful!

It's sprung in Knoxville. Everything's blooming and beautiful, nice and warm, so we planted petunias! Now we may get a frost this weekend. Too early for petunias!
