I'm with annesherrod today, reversed the quantities on the margaritas last night, 3:1 instead of 1:3 and was in bed by 7:30. woke up fine but think water is all it's going to be today.

Last night it was Limocello at Carraba's. Tonight it is a blend of some red and white wines I have on hand. Why can't I find that perfect blend already in a bottle? I find myself always combining reds and whites.

Limoncello.

Cline Zinfandel this evening. It was very good. We had hamburgers stuffed with arugula pesto and then fries. We copied our french fry recipe from the Everett Street Bistro in Portland, OR. Lots of kosher salt and rosemary.

So tomorrow, I guess we'd better go on a long run to work off the cholesterol. :)

kurieff---how do you do the fries with rosemary? Sounds delicious.

kureiff Sep 24th, 2006 10:18 AM

After taking the fries out of the deep fat fryer sprinkle them with kosher salt and then with dried rosemary. They're very good!

We roast sectioned red potatoes with olive oil, a few tablespoons of roasted chiles, and a bit of sea salt. Reasonably healthy.

We roast fingerling potatoes the same way. Delicious.
