For SXM and the BVIs, www.traveltalkonline.com. I think this is the one previously referred to as traveltalk.com, but that one's obsolete. They also have some other 'warm place' boards there.

Two good travel forums: travelerstogo.com (lots of Fodors people on it) and slowtrav.com. Fodors is still the busiest I think.

A good college (and college related stuff - and parent talk) forum collegeconfidential.com.

Goto www.gardenweb.com and look at all the different forums. The "That Home Site" section of it is the part that gives non-gardening advice on just about anything you can name. You have to register, but it's free.

Does anyone know of a site that has intelligent "book talk"?
Thanks!

Aunt Annie,

For book talk, try http://www.online-literature.com/forums/ . The members are from all over the world.

Aunt Annie, I really like the community section of Abesbooks.com. I've had great luck with the folks on book sleuth when I was trying to remember old childhood favorites, and it's generally a fun and helpful crowd.

Another great wedding site is weddingbee.com.
