I was at a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert in LA. It was a surprise for my husband.

Spent a wild night at an LA dance club with my then-SigO. Then got up at 7 AM to monitor our computer systems for Y2K-related problems (we write our own code, so it was a huge deal)-- what fun! Gee, I'm glad to have relived that exciting evening!

Took my stepdaughters out for a chi chi dinner then drank champagne when the clock struck midnight.

I was actually recovering from surgery earlier that week. I watched the celebrations from around the world on TV, then stepped out onto the porch at midnight to watch the fireworks in downtown Dallas.<BR><BR>My husband was on riot-prevention duty with the National Guard.
