When we went to Hong Kong, we reserved the Regent Hotel on Kowloon. We decided to splurge for a "Harborfront" room rather than a "Harborview" room. But we were not prepared for what we got when we arrived. The room was huge and beautiful, but unique in that it was built lengthwise, with the longest wall being all glass, floor to ceiling, wall to wall literally hanging over the harbor. I could hardly go to bed for the entire stay, it was like a giant movie screen of the activity of the harbor and the skyline of Hong Kong city across the harbor. Everything about the hotel was fantastic -- the service, the restaurants, the edgeless pool and jacazzi cantilevered over the water. I believe it is now an Intercontinental.

Ritz Carlton Cancun. To Me the best hotel in the world. What I would do to be there right now...
