I think these may be the ones you are referring to:

www.oanda.com for currency rates and
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ for the time

I use www.time.gov

It is operated by the US government...so you should be careful with the time you get :-)

Sue, I think this might be the time zone website you're looking for.
I posted it in one of the categories you have to scroll down to see from the 'travel talk' homepage...tips and hints or something like that.
Anyway, the World Time Zones is:

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

FAVORITE CURRENCY CONVERTER:
Sue, same thing for Currency Converter. The best I've found is the one from Oanda....use the 'cheat sheet' function (look in left column) so you can print out copies and take with you.
Even for 2 of us I print out 4; one for each of us to carry in pocket and purse (always seems to lose those) with 2 more backups in luggage.

http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic

Voltages and Adaptors - by Country....

Sue, you didn't ask about this one, but you and others may find it interesting.
Remember: adaptors do not 'change' the voltage

http://www.escapeartist.com/global/Plug_Adapters1.html
