My husband and I will be going to Hawaii. What is the temperature and rain fall in February and May?

I have two suggestions:
Re-post with Hawaii in the subject line--the US is a big place.
Look at www.weather.com where they post historical averages for temperature and precipitation.
Good luck!

The weather is different in different areas of each island. Your question needs to be more specific. Which island and what part. For Maui, see this:

Also each island has different weather patterns depending on which 'side' you are talking about.

Here's a general answer to a general question:

Throughout our state, February is more likely to be rainy than May, and cooler too, both day and night. Average say high 70's days and mid 60's nights at sea level. May is usually dry and getting warmer, though nights are still cooler than summer.
