I am waiting for that "nonspam" message Bill!!

Wacko Broads, Kal? I thought if one lived on the left coast they had to be one, lol! Hotter than heck, isn't it?

LoveItaly Jul 13th, 2006 07:41 PM

UHM Kal, I meant the weather not the broads! ;;) But than again....

Okay, our previous problems seem to be gone today. And I'm thankful for that, don't get me wrong! But is anyone else having problems pulling up threads? Sometimes it won't open at all, other times the title comes up but none of the posts.

Hi CAPH, I haven't been on Fodor's much today but when I have it has been working quite well. Maybe the gltiches are fixed. Have a great weekend!

CAPH52 Jul 14th, 2006 07:12 PM

Maybe it's my computer, LoveItaly!

I was glad to see your good news on FF R&R. I'm sure it's a relief to have that behind you.

Hope you have a great weekend too!

LoveItaly Jul 14th, 2006 07:51 PM

Thanks CAPH, good grief it seems like so many of us have had stress, worries etc. of one kind or another. Maybe out little angels can give all of us a month of serenity.

CAPH, have you gone to TOOLS at the left upper side of your screen, click that on and then scroll down and click on Internet Options. Then scroll down to Temporary Internet Files and then click on Delete Cookies and after that is completed click on Delete files. These are all "temporary files".

Doing this about once every two weeks can "clean up" your computer. If you haven't down this it would probably be a good idea to do so.

Note: Clicking Delete Cookies will mean you will have to log back onto Fodor's and other websites you are registered with, or at least that has been my experience.

Thank you, LoveItaly! I knew I probably needed to do that on this computer but couldn't remember how! Besides my frequent trips to Fodor's this is the computer my 16 year old son uses. Need I say more?!

LoveItaly Jul 14th, 2006 08:05 PM

CAPH, of course I meant if you haven't done this..as I have often said..I am the worse typist.

jorr Jul 14th, 2006 11:00 PM

I think the wacko problem is on "both coasts". No problems here. LOL

CAPH52 Jul 14th, 2006 11:24 PM

But I'm not on a coast, jorr. I'm in the suburbs of Chicago! Not even on the "coast" of Lake Michigan!
