US Board : a little wacky today?
 

When I click on US, some posts come up from today, then others from Sept 25 are included in the top 50...anybody else have this happen? Very weird.

Yes, twice! Once I got posts from late August, another time only posts about California--I didn't use the filter either time. (Cue Twilight Zone music...)

Yesterday, I only got posts from Hawaii once when I clicked on the U.S. Wacko-time in cyberspace.... :-)

Happened to me yesterdays once or twice! Thank you Judy, now I know I don't have to cut on chardonnay :)

Was having a frustrating time getting my Fodor's fix between projects at work!

A snake jumped out of my PJ's when I logged on this morning!!!! Maybe someone saw a full moon. O-)

And I thought the problem yesterday was because I didn't have any chardonnay in the house and so this board wasn't working properly.
Went and bought some, poured a glass and "BINGO" everything was working great.
So now I am dissapointed that it was not fixed because I poured a glass of wine. I really really thought that perhaps the only way was to sip, sip, sip to have Fodors.com working properly. Oh well, another dream gone to waste :-)

I have been away today but it took a while to even get on Fodors this afternoon. First I got an out of order sign :) then it was just reeeally slow opening up.
Maybe they are cleaning house?

I don't know, you guys - I was at the dentist this morning and got a nice general anaesthetic. I realize I've been sleeping all day and having some pretty weird dreams, so I've decided this entire thread is just one of my hallucinations. Nobody else needs to pay any attention to it. It doesn't really exist. b-(

L'Italy-We went to a tasting of Honig reds a few weeks ago. We got a good friend of ours switching to reds from Chards...
She bought a bottle of Cab, Zin and a Merlot. One of the Honig's wrote on it "Chardonnay is only foreplay-Welcome to Cab Country"!

I had a trojan(not a C) and spent hours trying to get rid of it and when I logged on here , the Fodors not available due to...came up

She had a virus/worm (Trojan) and when she tried to go on to Fodors, the Page came up that said Fodors was not available..
I know because I did the same thing, although we are so protected now that there are no Trojan horses, worms or viruses allowed on my street much less in my computer :D

I don't know cigale and Scarlett, just thought wine was the answer. I had SBC dsl-got kicked offline (although they said that was impossible, oh right!) about twice a day. Finally switched to Comcast and everything was perfect until two days later my laptop crashed. Good grief. Four weeks later I got it back. No, it didn't run away although I felt like throwing it away. Took it into CompUSA, fortunatly had a warranty on it. One week of repairs turned into four weeks. Oh sigh. Anyway, than Comcast came back out to hook up my wireless and in conversation said (great guy) &quot;think a glass of wine helps computors work better&quot;.
Well - so far, so good.
Sooooo, just a suggestion. What do I know? No virus/worms, slugs so far BUT have a fly flipping around here that I would love to kill if I could catch up with him. Than again maybe it is a her. What do I know?

Jeepers.........this is as wacky today as it was yesterday which it will probably be tomorrow which will make it the day before yesterday!...

I tried to tell all of you, you MUST sip wine to keep Fodor's up and working properly. I have only had coffee and orange juice and this board as been nothing but a problem today.
We are all going to have to do our part! And Kal, I will buy some Cab later today, honest. Will work on the other food groups later.
