Trouble with POP-UPS

Is anyone else having a problem with Pop-ups coming up after posting on Fodors? I am getting Las Vegas vacation stuff...Grrrr

Are you using IE as your browser? If yes try downloading the Mozilla browser I've been using it for a year now and haven't seen a pop-up since.

A Fodor's poster (in some thread I've now forgotten) suggested downloading AdAware from lavasoft--it identifies and isolates spyware and data miners on your hard drive, and I think that those little devils are the cause of your pop-up problem. I think the site is www.lavasoft.de

Scarlett-I use popupstopper which I downloaded for free from zdnet.com. You can set your preferences to agressive to filter out those pesky little devils.

Should be pop-up stopper it's from panicwear. Sorry for the spelling I am trying to drink my tea and type. :-)
