Starrsville, Iz's version of "somewhere over the rainbow" is one of my all time faves. |
dcespedes,
Thanks. The Iz cd I have is "n Dis Life". I love it. I bought it in Maui 10 years ago. Have you heard Hapa's first cd? That's the one I am really in love with. Amazing. According to auntiemaria, one half of Hapa, Keli`i Kaneali`i is performing at Tahiti Nui in Hanalei. We're staying just around the corner! I'm so there! ((R)) -Bill |
I have several cds of music from Disney World...parades,Illuminations,etc. They really lift my spirits and make me feel as though I am still on vacation. Do any of you play music you picked up on vacation to make you feel as though you are back there?
|
Oh, golly - this must be a coded way to figure out Fodorite ages. But dammit! - is there anything better, any time, anywhere, than Bob Seger's Old Time Rock 'n' Roll?
NO!!!!! And i just recently told my spouse that when I die, after we've done everything else including some Emperor symphony; Four Seasons and Amazing Grace by bagpipes, I want everyone boppin' on out to...Old Time Rock 'n' Roll!!!! |
..I always begin my road trip cds I burn with the same song, 'On the road again' by Willie Nelson...sorry but it gets me in the right mood, I love it !
|
Bill,
What is Hapa's first CD called? |
Well, Wednesday, I SING On the Road Again and Hit the Road, Jack...but neither very well.
