I love St. Louis - check out the gift shop and restaraunt in the Art Museum. <BR>Also do a search on St. Louis - some great posts on the wineries - October would be great month to go because the drive is beautiful and you can view the fall foliage. <BR>Agree with the posts about the arch - I can ride any ride at any amusement park without feeling queasy but riding to the top of the arch was not a pleasant experience.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Toasted Ravioli. It was one of the local foods I enjoyed the most when I lived there 15 years ago.

We just returned from three days in St. Louis - wish we could have had three more! Great city! Our only disappointment was Union Station. While it is an interesting work of architecture and history, the shops inside are the same you'll find in any mall in any US city. They were geared toward the teenage and young adult crowd. Landry's Seafood, in Union Station, while nice for atmosphere, was a big disappointment for food quality.
