db, so glad your granddaughter and her family had a wonderful time.

I, too, am a Texas transplant from the Midwest. Been here 20 years. I think people in the Midwest are friendly, but think Texans are more so. :) And I do find it strange when I go other places and I say, "hello" or "good morning" and people just stare at me like I'm a freak or something. :)
