apologies to all. someone is using my name and email address to post obnoxious comments (boating and unicycling). sorry but it's isn't me.

uh, "One ([email protected])": if you had read before your criticized, you would have noticed that Valeria said "bring visiting friends and relatives to Carmine's often. It's like eating at friends or family. The food is good and the portions are large. It's not gourmet"<BR><BR>oldorch ([email protected]): That happened to me once too (someone posting "on my behalf") don't worry about it, it will be obvious to the "regulars" that the bogus comments are out of character for you.<BR><BR>Howard: Remi sounds interesting, can you comment further on food/price/atmosphere etc? thanks!<BR><BR>

I hope you have a wonderful trip, let me know how it was when you get back, I am planning my next trip for that area.<BR><BR>Thank you,<BR><BR>Lori

I reccomend you take a look at the menu at Carmines and see if it is up your alley first. They have a website.<BR>I was there the first weekend in December and didn't care for the choices at all. Ended up eating a bit of bread and that was it. My friends go there often and swore by the place.<BR>It reminded me of Bucca Di Beppo. I wasn't impressed.

Monique - if you go to a restaurant and the entrees aren't up to your standards, can't you simply choose a salad or a selection of appetizers? You must have looked ridiculous gnawing away on a slice of bread while other at your table ate dinner. Also, it was inconsiderate to make your dining companions feel like they were at a place so lousy you couldn't eat the food so you would just sit there and eat the bread. Nice going.
