Special Restuarant in NYCity for daughter's 30th
I am looking for a restaurant that is quiet and would be somewhat "special" for a trip we are planning to NY City to celebrate my daughter's big 30. She likes Italian and/or seafood. I don't want to spend a NY fortune...but willing to go a little upscale. Any suggestions?

What is your budget?
A top end restaurant in NYC plan on $150+ per person. |
Italian--L'Impero, Il Buco, Il Cantinori. You will get many recos for the Mario Batali restaurants but they're difficult to get a res., pricey and imo no big deal.
Seafood--nothing beats Le Bernardin. To avoid bankruptcy go for the prix fixe lunch. Aquagrill and Oceana also very good. |
If you let us know about what you want to spend, it will be easier to pick a good restaurant in your price range. One of the fun things about NY is that there are great restaurants for almost any budget.
