WOW!!! I read the article about the floods. I really WAS lucky. That sounds awful ... but I bet I would have gotten lots of writing done :-)

Arrived Kauai on Jan 25 and, unfortunately...set to leave day after tomorrow. Coincidentally, Songdoc, we stayed in Sealodge G2 for our first 8 days on the Island (it was GREAT!!). I'll be posting a TR once I'm back in my homeland (Alberta). Auniemaria...must remember to keep things IN PERSPECTIVE!!! - my children are NOT happy that I am in Kauai, experiencing a little rain and 75 degree weather while they are are -40 celsius!!!! To be honest, it's been a little wet here, but we managed to find sun and warmth every day (gotta love Poipu!!). Calinurse...nice to hear from you - we conversed prior to our last trip to Costa Rica....nice to see you can't stay away from this paradise either!!!! This is such a great place......
