SF Tour Companies

Has anyone used a Tour company in San Francisco ? Looking for the most reputable and not one that is "going to take me for a ride". Appreciate your assistance :)

There are some wonderful walking tours that either free or VERY reasonable - many choices of areas to walk - hopefully someone will post a link. You might want to give an idea of what kind of a tour you are looking for - and there is also the HO HO - hop on, hop off bus that will give you a good overview.

Hello, momtojac, in case you are interested in walking tours which is a great way to experience SF here is a website for your review.
http://www.sfcityguides.org/index.html

Our Fodorite, StuDudley, wife is the guide on some of these tours when they are not off on trips of their own. I always call Stu "Mr. San Francisco" as he is a native son.

The guided walks which are through the SF Library are free but a "thank you" donation is always very appreciated of course.

And if you type StuDudley into the Search box here you will find a wealth of information from him regarding San Francisco. Best regards and have a fun and interesting trip!

<<<as he is a native son.>>>

Actually he's not. He very smartly moved here from Southern California when he was a young adult :-)
