I would really look in to the Westin when thinking of visiting Savannah . It is in such a great spot with amazing views and I find nothing wrong with a new luxury hotel~
They also have nice 2 night packages where you get 20% off your room rate.

I look forward to a fall trip, so we can spend more time walking the old house tours.

I was looking at some of those walks. I'd love to try the Ghost Talk Ghost Walk tour. Sounds mega-intriguing, spooky-scary!! And the houses tour! And the carriage ride! All sounds like fun - very suthun.
