My niece and her husband moved to Houston a couple years ago (actually the day OF Katrina!) and has been telling me to come visit. Sounds like I could make a plan.
But it will have to be after the regular summer travel.

We stayed at LaQuinta Inn I-10 East last year. Very plain but met our needs. No time to sit around when you're in SA. Not far from FSH or 410. Looks like a rate of $80 available. Some discount rates available (we used AARP).
