RVs are not very good vehicles in the mountains. They often go very slow up the big hills, and accumulate a long line of cars behind them. I remember several trips where we got "stuck" behind a slow-moving RV in the mountains. <BR><BR>Also, don't forget to count in the cost of gas, which isn't cheap these days. The bigger Rvs get horrible gas mileage! You might come out a lot less expensive to rent a bigger SUV and stay in hotels.
