If you don't have anything nice to say about Norfolk...come sit by me. Call all the law firms you sent resumes to there and ask that they be returned to you immediately. I've practiced law in both cities and really found Norfolk and Hampton Roads to be depressing - can't go anywhere without driving through a tunnel, lots of giant metal cranes working on ships, a bit run- down. Yes, there are pretty areas, a few fun festivals downtown near the water, and I guess the beach is nice but on balance I lean toward Richmond.
