As far as dressing up, NYC is pretty much anything goes. Few restaurants are formal. Same goes for theater. People wear anything from jeans to suits. |
I used to like Mangia e Bevi in Hell's Kitchen, especially on a Sunday night, but they have closed.

I don;t have nay problem with tourists who want to "see" Times Square for a sort period of time. If you've never seen it - I wouldn't call it enthralling, more dismaying - but understandably something to see - once. What I can't understand is wanting to spend more time than that there - I would think 30 minutes is plenty for anyone.
