Audie79,
Just reread this post and a few things you should know....Nicks Fishmarket on Oahu has no view whatsoever except maybe of Kalakaua avenue from the bar so you wouldn't want to go there if you want a sunset view. John Dominis is one of our faves but all the windows face east and the sun sets in the west. You can catch a beautiful sunset(best time of yr Winter/Spring)in the parking lot or at Point Panic but not in the restaurant which is kind of the point....right? Jameson's sunsets are legendary in the summer but the food is only ok and nothing special....not bad just not that good. Aloha! |
We had a good time and decent food at Jamieson's, and the view is beautiful.
Look at the Halekulani Hotel at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki. We had a wonderful breakfast there, but it looked as if you would be able to see the sunset. |
The Nick's Fish Market that we went to was on Maui - we ate outside as the sun set, and it was gorgeous!

MAUI: Plantation House Inn at the Plantation Golf Course - exceptional food, service & view! We made reservation the night before. It may be a bit pricey-er than some that were suggested but the food is to die for! Make sure to make a reservation for seating at the window at sunset!
