No, no, no !!! I have it on the Highest authority it's Egg in a Basket and you cut the basket out with a shot glass, preferably minus the Tanqueray... R5 |
Scarlette, that sounds delicious! Do you make the Hazelnut butter or buy it somewhere?
|
You couldn't serve me enough whiskey to try haggis! Yuk! Is this for real? If so, who came up with the idea to eat a sheep's organs?!? :&
ok, R5 - eggs in the basket it is. But now that I have Scarlett's chocolate recipe, I'm moving on to that! |
Oh yes, haggis is a Scottish delicacy...but I hear you can't use sheep lung in the US? Here's a fun game whilst nibbling innards and swirling whiskey:

Recipe for a great lunch:
Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach along the path where the ocean meets the cliffs. Young lady walks past that is protruding so far she needs a GPS to keep track. =D> Binocular Bailey Talk amongst yourselves… |
Scarlett,
Now that you're in the Pacific NW, you need a recipe for lutefisk (best described as fish soaked in lye until it's the consistency of jello). I've had great results with this one: 1. Get the lutefisk 2. Lay it on a pine board 3. Flatten with a meat cleaver 4. Salt and pepper it and pour on butter 5. Bake on board in oven for 30 minutes 6. Remove from oven and allow to cool 7. Throw out the lutefisk and eat the board Or just raise a glass of Absolut and sing this to the tune of "O Christmas Tree" O Lutefisk, O Lutefisk, how fragrant your aroma, O Lutefisk, O Lutefisk, you put me in a coma. You smell so strong, you look like glue, You taste just like an overshoe, But lutefisk, come Saturday, I tink I eat you anyvay |
OSB, you can find hazelnut butter at a natural foods store. It's really delicious.
