Did you perhaps mean this for the Lounge?

Sentrif Jun 28th, 2014 08:27 AM

Perhapsier than you think. Sorry.

Have you found an inexpensive source for horn spoons for my caviar? Marrow spoons? Snail tongs?

IMDonehere Jun 29th, 2014 03:04 AM

Dan Quayle?

They're so tiny. How do you cut them and why would you want to?

IMDonehere Jun 29th, 2014 05:56 AM

To make tiny egg salad.

Ackislander Jun 29th, 2014 07:48 AM

Perhaps to dip tiny pieces toast.

starrs Jun 29th, 2014 09:47 AM

Do you mean toast points?

Ackislander Jun 29th, 2014 02:10 PM

I think we used to call those little rectangles of toast that you dip in soft-boiled eggs "soldiers." So what would you call teeny soldiers for quail eggs?

I thought toast points are what you serve under asparagus.

Quail eggs are great for health and we eat 4 in the morning, just drinking them. Shell is so thick though - its a pain to cut. So I was wondering if there is a cutter and found a ton!

Sassafrass Jul 5th, 2014 04:04 PM

So, you are not cutting the egg, only the shell?

IMDonehere Jul 5th, 2014 06:47 PM

It is like walking on quail shells.
