It's on 47th Street between 6th and 7th. Very close to Times Square and Rockefeller Plaza. Got a good rate and wondered about rooms and the area.

Well, this qualifies as your "any response might be helpful." I walked by it on my way to the theatre last May and thought to myself, "What a great looking little hotel--too bad that it's surrounded by rundown apartment buildings." I didn't go inside.
