"London Eye aka Millenium Wheel. Enclosed capsules located next to the Thames. You spend 35 minutes on it and it slowly goes around like a Ferris Wheel. Others love it. I was not impressed. My 2 cents

Re: London Eye

Agree that it's not worth the time. When we were there a few months ago you had to have a reservation to ride. It may be different in January. If you want to ride, check with your hotel to see if they're still requiring reservations.

Sure wish I had the travel experiences some of you have had!! Also, very interesting to see all of the different replies - guess that's a good thing, or a few places would sure be crowded! Based on my limited travels:
Would go again in a SECOND:
1. Orlando area - Loved WDW, Universal and Sea World. All made me feel like a kid again!!
2. Washington, DC
3. I guess I'm like Will Rogers, I can't think of anyplace I've ever been that I wouldn't like to re-visit under the right circumstances (meaning if I could get there First Class Air, without having to endure the torture of those flying sardine cans). Given the luxury of flying first class, I might even take another large ship cruise. That being said, places I would most like to return to are:
Most of Italy, the Ardennes area of Belgium, Southern Germany, parts of Austria and Switzerland, Cyprus, some parts of the U.K., anywhere in the Rockies, and even Dubai.
One of the best things about Europe and the U.K., is that they have good trains, where First class doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I KNOW THIS STRANGE, BUT I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY PLACE I WOULD DEFINATELY NOT RETURN TO. I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER WANT TO SEE VIETNAM AGAIN, BUT IT MIGHT BE INTERESTING NOW. LOVE THEME PARKS, NATIONAL PARKS AND BATTLEFIELDS. GIVE ME SCENERY AND EXCITEMENT.NOW FOR MY NEXT 53 YEARS--!
