If you click on your name at the very top of the screen, you will see all the posts that you've commented on. When new responses come up, the posts move to the top of that list. That is why I came back to see this post. This is the best Fodors tip there is and I was thankful when I was fist told about it!

Thank you for the tip and thanks for coming back! I guess I had bookmarked this fodor forum and as I was looking for a recipe in my bookmarks I came across it. Jim and I are coming up to Petosky as planned. The daughter's counselor said that this will be a good test to see if daughter can be away at college without us - and a good time to put this whole roller coaster aside and take a breather before the next crises. We are staying 3 nights in the Gingerbread B@B and 2 nights at the CPE resort and from those bases we will explore all the wonderful tips for places and things to do from you and everyone else on this post. Thanks for your thoughts ...and prayers from anyone are also much appreciated. Every day is a new challenge and frankly it is scary to plan this vacation but she is 19 and we probably need this break from each other - it gets intense. It is a wonderful escape just planning this trip. Thanks for all of everyone's advice!
