Peanut sticks are still made. We just came back from Buffalo. Of course we brought back peanut sticks. Most doughnut shops in the Buffalo area make them, Yes they are a donut, rolled to form a stick and then glazed and rolled in crushed peanuts. Definately a must try if you're in buffalo. I have yet to find any bakery in florida that makes them. We got ours at Paula's in Buffalo. Wegman's and Budwey's also carry them.

OK, this is a blast from the past. This thread began in 2005, I completely forgot I ever posted to a thread about peanut sticks.

Yes there is such things as peanut sticks i am from scranton pennsylvaina the only ones i liked where made by krispy cream and for some reason they stopped making them so maybe if we all call and bug them they will make them again they are very tasting donuts not sweet

The peanut sticks must be stale by now, the original question was posted in 2005. Well, New Year's Eve but still 2005.
