SD girl, the pollution in Mission Bay has nothing at all to do with Mexican sewage. Mission Bay has its own set of problems and parts of it are closed periodically, especially, but not only, when it rains. Many people enjoy water sports on Mission Bay year round. I would not, however, recommend swimming in it.
