Well being a Patrick, of course I'm wearing greeen. So you see how poorly I follow directions, since I opened this anyway.

Syv Mar 17th, 2005 05:41 AM

Wearing red & black. Scottish & Canadian French background.

bamakelly Mar 17th, 2005 05:42 AM

Wearing black and jeans. Forgot all about it. I guess I'll get pinched!

GoTravel Mar 17th, 2005 05:46 AM

I can't follow directions either. Wearing my gym clothes that are green.

JJ5 Mar 17th, 2005 06:07 AM

Blue. I forgot as I was in a big rush to get student workers a treat- green cupcakes.

But when I was a girl, my siblings and I would always wear total red, as we were the only Italians in a Irish neighborhood and this was the only day that we heard about it, constantly. Once we started advertising our red and St. Joseph's day early (St. Joseph's day- March 19)- things changed a bit. And we had the entire St.Joseph's table etc. for our section of the parish at my house. And guess who all came after sleeping off a day in between and ate themselves silly?

I still know about 5 different Irish reels/dances, as I took lessons for years with my best friend Maureen. Great fun.

May the wind be always at your back! And it always is with the Irish sensibilities and ever present sense of humor.

Welcome home Scarlett! Did you have a wonderful time in Paris?

reneeinva Mar 17th, 2005 07:03 AM

I am wearing a green shirt...my sons would have pinched me to death this morning if I didn't!

MaureenB Mar 17th, 2005 07:08 AM

Just to prove I'm contrary AND Irish to the core, I opened this post even though I'm wearing green. Can't tell the Irish to do anything, can ya?

cassidy2002 Mar 17th, 2005 07:09 AM

Is it true that you only have to wear green if you're Irish? I didn't because I (like Syv) am a Scot. Well, a Scot/Brit.

Suzie Mar 17th, 2005 07:27 AM

My mom (with two parents whose last names each begin with O' ) always told us that we didn't have to wear green becasue we are Irish. I'm wearing black pants and a white shirt but have my little shamrock pin on the collar.

Al_LaCarte Mar 17th, 2005 07:29 AM

I think I'm wearing green, but it's hard to say for sure as I'm color blind.

So I'm either wearing a red shirt with green pants, a green shirt with red pants, or a (as it appears to me) a brown shirt with brown pants.

HSPD!

AL ((b))

kodi Mar 17th, 2005 07:30 AM

No, you only have to wear green if you are Irish at heart!
I don't have a drop of Irish blood in me, but I'm still wearing green....and loving it.
I'll take any excuse to be Irish for the day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone.

nytraveler Mar 17th, 2005 09:24 AM

I'm actually not. Stuck home waiting for the plumber and don;t have green sweats. My eyes are green though - does that count?

Leslie_B Mar 17th, 2005 10:44 AM

I would've worn green but instead I'm wearing black pants and a Red University of Arizona tshirt since they're playing bball tonight. GO CATS!!! I'll risk the pinching :)
