Welcome to Florida, Scarlett. We're in Ponte Vedra, where its showers today, mid 60s. We're in for a cool spell, but nothing like where you left. We too moved down last year, from Trenton, not too far from where you're driving. And goodness, we haven't looked back. What a big change from NJ, the kids love it. Safe drive and get back online soon, and welcome.

I want to thank you for all the lovely wishes, we had an excellent drive down!
We left NYC at noon on Jan 10th and stayed the night in Rocky Mt NC at a Comfort Inn. It was a little dreary but it was Pup friendly and clean. Early the next morning, off we drove, arriving in Jax around 5 pm. We stayed at the La Quinta Inn at J Turner Blvd, I recommend it highly, even if you are Pup-less! New, clean and in a very good location.
We are now in the process of settling into our new home, just got our computer back up, phones in after AT&T messed up a few times...whine whine.
So Thank You For the Good Wishes, they worked :)

We had a wonderful time over xmas in Florida, I wish we had stayed longer.

If you read this-I see your name is now unregistered, but we were in Ponte Vedra this evening, visiting friends. Maybe we will see you at the beach? Look for the blonde with the large brown poodle.
I bet it was a big adjustment for you coming from Trenton NJ to Ponte Vedra! I have never been to Trenton but I heard it is very green out there,but not much like the beach.
We lived in Manhattan and I must admit, I am working on adjusting to life in the South again :)
