NY State Assembly Internship

Have anyone attended this internship for undergrad and grad students? My son will start it in January 2016. Any tips, specially about housing, will be highly appreciated.

It sounds like a great opportunity for your son. Have you contacted whoever he'll be working with to ask about housing arrangements?

Craigslist is also a good option.

Don't know anything about this - but I would assume that a student who qualifies for this type of program is capable of sorting out their own housing. Naturally the intern can contact the program organizer to see if there is ay informal housing share program.

I would also contact the housing offices of universities in the area to try to hook into their systems for circulating non-U housing info among their students.

If this is Albany housing should not be expensive but the student should get a move on if this stats in January.

Local schools include SUNY Albany, St. Rose, and Albany Med/Pharm/Law schools.

Here's a complete list of colleges near Albany:

Obviously a lot of these won't have housing but it gives more places to start.

If he does a good job, Shelly Silver's position is now open.
