Generally speaking, it's ground meat that poses the greatest health risk if undercooked. I can't imagine eating a steak cooked any more than medium-rare! I think I'd order the chicken instead. ;)

What about steak tartare, beef carpaccio, and the Korean Hoe, just to mention a few?
|
Hmm. I guess I'd have to say 'No' to steak tartare, 'Maybe' to beef carpaccio and I know nothing about the Korean Hoe!
|
Korean Hoe's aren't that rare!

We now have a Striphouse in Naples, Florida. It's fantastic and I can't wait to try the one in NYC. But when I said to the waiter "I think we need the goose fat potatoes" he insisted we should have the Romanoff potatoes instead. Wow, were they fantastic. I still want to try the goose fat ones, but I've been twice, and it certainly is the best steakhouse now in Naples!

Korean Hoe's aren't that rare!
That is true because it is raw. |
Aduchamp: How are Korean Hoes prepared? Is it slices of meat or chopped meat?
|
Sliced, but I have not had it a wide variety of places.
|
Drooling!

Dear 309
Please let me know where you intend to eat, so I may bring an umbrella. |
Don't forget Delmonico's near Wall Street. An oldie, (classic) but goodie.
