A Lucky Dog is a hot dog sold by a street vendor from his hotdog cart. I remember eating them as a kid in the 60s. Ever had candy from the Roman candy buggy? Usually can find one in the Audubon Zoo. Candy tastes like taffy.

I remember years ago getting stopped in the airport for bringing the t-bone from my steak. It was wrapped in foil & in my purse. Guess they thought it was a gun. I had to unwrap it & let them see. Totally embarassing but the dog loved me when I got home. Never again!!!

Just finished "A Conferacy of Dunces" and "Managing Ignatius"---therefore, cannot wait to try a Lucky Dog!
