When I was 6, we traveled to Germany, and I remember a lot of things about it! 6 is a great year to travel :)!

Sounds like you can't lose! I'd be tempted to pick one out of a hat!

Wednesday and frankie: Thank you for speaking up for six year olds! :)
Mexico, without a doubt. Mexico, a different culture, different language. It's always good to expand their horizons and let them see how others live. When they have their interests stimulated, they will, on their own, want to continue to explore other countries, other cultures, other languages. They will be better students and wouldn't sit there acting bored because they are so dependent on outside stimulation. They wouldn't want to conform so much when teenagers and then puncture their tongues or sport mohawks just to try to be different. They will "innately" know that people are different and will be comfortable with themselves, because they will have had experiences with people different from themselves. Expand their horizons! Go to Mexico! :) |
Ummm....can I relive my childhood & have all of you as parents? Wow, i feel like I'm not only making a vacation choice here...I'm learning how to raise children!
Okay, the answer is....drumroll....Mexico! Montana is still at top of list but I'm going to go for the different people/different ways trip now. wonderful conversations folks. |

Garvin222,
you will have so much fun with them there, the colors, the food, the music, art, the people, wow. (I ever ran into Matt Dillon there on Day of the Dead once) And funny how some said children this young won't remember, yet the thread titled "Favorite Childhood Travel Memory" is riddled with people having their most memorable experience at that age....Have a wonderful time !!! |
