|
TWELVE DAYS!!!!! =P~
|
67 days till our wedding, 71 days till our honeymoon in Maui and Oahu.
Still haven't booked our hotel though we got our mind pretty much set on Marriott Wailea.... wanted to wait for deals but prices have been pretty stable. Ritz Carlton is another option given their prices were reduced.... Can't wait... waterfalls, snokerling, beaches, lots of fresh fish meals ... most importantly, i will definitely need to rest after i get through the wedding planning next two months. |
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, sayko. Maui is a great island. If you haven't already, I'd contact the hotel directly and see what sort of deal they can give you. We are getting a sweet deal from our hotel.
|
OH bbq!! Have a wonderfl time. Sulas... bula vinaka... hot rock massages... I'm so happy for you. Isn't it your b'day??
((R)) |
Aloha makai. Yes, it was two weeks ago and I am celebrating all month and into April. Why not?
|
iamq,
Which hotel are you staying at? Did you call the reservation centre or the hotel directly? |
Iamq, sorry you indicated you are staying at Hotel Hana Maui.... checking it out now...looks like an amazing place!
|
Hi sayko, It is a great place. Very low-key. Four Seasons Evian spritzer types need not apply.
|
Is it too early to start a countdown: 83 days!!???
We're going to Maui!!!!!!!!!!!!! First time Hawaii traveler! |
Too early? Ask Kal that question. He starts his Kauai countdown for next year's trip when he gets home from the current trip.
Have a great time, sunbabe! |
NINE DAYS! \:D/\:D/\:D/
|
643 more days until we return on Dec '10.
Sunbabe...congrats!((Y)) sayko and congrats to you too! ((Y)) |
166 days for me before Hawaii. But then another 23 till I hit Maui.
|
Patrick, make sure you hook up with MelissaHI and her Honolulu posse of fodorites when you're on Oahu for a really great GTG!
|
Well well well...so you're slummin again Napoleon. Poor Roosters are gonna miss ya. We just did Mexico, loved that flight time....but no shaved ice or fish tacos!!!! Just felt like checking on my ole favorites of days gone by. Hey icee and Gypeeeee....Aloha Billy...late spring break for you?? Texas...we done. Enjoy your trip...

|
Well heck, I don't feel so bad now! (Kal's magic #643!) :)
I will have plenty of questions for all you Maui experts in the coming weeks, so be ready! |
iamq, I'm still dreaming of a trip to Post Ranch! Have a great time in Hawaii.
Aloha! |
bullyboy, you got your bags packed? OK, you get 2 pairs of shorts and 3 shirts! No extra shoes!
|
1 pair of "nice" shorts, 1 pair of khaki shorts, 1 bathing suit, 1 pair of "lounge" shorts (Hawaiian print baggy), 1 nice t shirt, 2 regular t shirts, 1 "nice" polo shirt, MAYBE 1 nice collared shirt. Tennis shoes for walking/hiking, rubber slippahs, leather slippahs. I will wear the the khaki shorts and 1 nice t shirt with the leather slippahs or the tennis shoes on the plane. How's that?
|
what about that fashion outfit from Nevini? You simply must!!!
and a sock for redsandbeach, a very big sock, for sun protection..... |
Perfect! Dangit, this anticipation is just the best isn't it? Woohooooooo...hey if those guys are cooking on the side of the road, get some of their bbq sauce. We had ours confiscated since the real icee forgot he had it in his carryon.
Aloha |
V'mom!
How'zit? She's doing fine...knock on wood. She is now an offical teenager! I think I still have your e-addy so I'll shoot you an e-mail. billlaaay...you'd only need half that stuff if you went to a real island. s'babe..."only" 276 to this year's trip to Kauai. ;) |
v'mom!!!!!! You still need a redo, all that rain and tragedy on the hellhole......
If we all pledge $50 we could make it happen!!!! smooches to the rainiest reporter of them all! you have never left us!!! |
Aha, Kal. I didn't think you could wait until 2010 for your next trip.
June can't come soon enough! |
A BIG sock indeed! I can just see it now. Martin and I would have the whole beach to ourselves! LMAODO!
visormom, any break from school is later than it should be, LOL! Good to hear from you. You must try the hell-hole again. This time go when all the smart, well traveled folks do, June, July or August. Okay gyppie, just for you I will throw in a sulu and I'll bring some sauce for the real icee. |
GREAAATTTT hearing from all of you "keepers of the treasure"....except is Auntie M still around? Just thrilled to know none of you have been bounced from Planet Fodor. :) Billy~~I'll be thinking of you in a few days...Enjoy...most importantly, what's your inflight movie...lol
|
"This time go when all the smart, well traveled folks do, June, July or August."
What? I was told that June, July, and August is when the hoards of families go -- and that the "smart, well traveled folks go after Labor Day -- like in September or October. Was I misinformed? |
Unless you are a well traveled, smart traveler who happens to teach and can only travel during holidays. Yes, we do exist. :-d
I was taking a friendly swipe at Kal who goes in January and icee who goes in the spring. It was a joke. |
and poor visormom who went on the rainiest season of all, soooobbbb
|
So, bully, whatcha think you will be doing this time next Monday????((r))
|
At this moment next week I will be 30,000 feet above the Pacific on my way to paradise!
|
bill, you should now by now if you listen to others here, I have no sense of humor.
|
That's okay Patrick. I understand. If you listen to some around here, I am a terrible bully who stalks poor helpless southern belles.
