Little Cabin in the Woods?
Thanks for replies, I would indeed like to know about cabins in the immdeiate area of Missouri and Arkansas, but I am assembling ideas for restful spots anywhere. We have family out East whom we visit and want to take a trip out West.
But I'm curious...why was I not able to post this response on the original query? Is there some restriction about the poster adding something further? Strange...never had it happen before on Fodors talk. ozarksbill |
OK, now it works on this posting. Mystery remains. Anyway, keep ideas coming for our file on little cabins!
This might also include I suppose lodges. ozarksbill |
It's hard to know if those from your neck of the woods really mean "west" when they write it, but:

The original query got too wide, somebody posted a loooooooooong URL. So you need to scroll down and then all the way to the right when posting.

THANKS! I figured it might be something simple but needed you to point out what! So anway I'll hopefully get good responses on the "other cabin site."

Hmmmm.... I don't know if I should be offended or not! |
Hi Bill,
You might look at www.buffaloriver.com. It's the website for the Buffalo Outdoor Center in Ponca, AR. They have many cabins to rent. I don't know about long-term rentals. A friend of ours owns the operation and I highly recommend his properties. Also, looking on into Arkansas, check out Petit Jean Mountain State Park. It's south of Harrison, near Russellville. I haven't been there, but several families around here return there year after year. Have you looked around Eureka Springs? I don't know what they might have that's secluded. But it's worth a look. Good luck and just ask if you have any more questions. Marla |
