Danny Gans is not worth the now $100 admission ticket for nosebleed seats. The showroom doesn't allow you to see Gans upfront close (unless of course you're a highroller or buy the more expensive tickets). That's a shame because Danny's talents are in the facial impression arena as well as his vocals. He is NOT a comedian by any means, although he painfully attempts to be one. Anyone who considers him to be a comedian has obviously never been to a real comedy stage.

We just came back from Las Vegas on Friday...Blue Man Group was the most awesome thing I have ever seen!!!

Agree with everyone who thinks Blue Man Group rocked - cuz they do! I'm guessing the younger crowd would appreciate the show more than the older crowd...
You can't go wrong with the Cirque shows.
And remember the free stuff outside the casinos: Mirage's volcano eruption, Treasure Island's buccaneer battle, Bellagio's fountains. The people-watching in itself can be a real hoot.

The Treasure Island pirate ship thing is closed...it will be replaced by a Siren Song show or something like that in October.

The Masquerade in the Sky at Rio was fun.

My family said that Mama Mia was AMAZING (with caps for emphasis ;) )

FYI
Mama Mia is at Mandalay Bay

Blue Man group is sophomoric type humor and wears on you after awhile - I think you need to be stoned or drunk to enjoy it (or under 30 yrs old)

Thanks for all comments. So difficult to decide! I think I have honed it down to:-
Gladys Knight
Lance Burton
Society of Seven
Roy and Siegfried

No-one has mentioned Rat Pack -Tribute show at Greek Islands. If anyone has been would appreciate comments as may add as a third show!

Also looking for good restaurants/lounges
to visit. Finally what will weather be like in mid October?

As I say many thanks for very helpful comments.

Just returned from Las Vegas. Cirque du Soleil's "O" was spectacular!!! Also saw Mamma Mia and really loved it even though our seats were way in the back though accoutics were great and view was fine. ONe from our group had seen it before in FL and thought this production was far superior!

Saw BLue Man Group a few years ago and was not impressed AT ALL.

Blue Man was the most incredible show I've ever seen. It's all in the mind of the beholder, I guess. If you have an open mind or a drop of creativity in your blood, you should love it.
