If you are looking for a $50 ish per night room, I would consider Harrahs's. We stayed at both the Flamingo and Harrah's and liked Harrah's better. It was also $10 per night cheaper.

The room at the Flamingo was larger and the view was slightly better (just a bigger window) but Harrah's seemed newer, better linen and although the room was smaller it was nicer.

Have a nice time! Too bad you won't be staying at the Bellagio, that was a very romantic hotel! We stayed there only one night because it was out of our price range too but it was worth it. We had a lakeview room so we could watch the fountains out our window. Amazing!
