key west in march

Does anyone know whether KW gets heavily over run by spring break college kids the last week on March?

It does.

It's always a party town, but that time of year is a bit much. A lot of students rent massive trailers that tend to clog the streets and beach areas. Try the Ritz in Naples or Key West before March 15.

March is always a crazy month. The biggest weeks are when the big Fla schools get let out. Stay away from the chain hotel/motels because that is where most stay. Many of the B&Bs do not allow spring breakers so would be you best bet.
Try later in April. It is always nicer then.

I would not recommend Key West in March.

It's lousey with spring breakers then.
No fun if you're not one of them.
