Statia and bonnie, thank you so much for your replies and prayers--I'm really touched! I've been tracking Ivan since last week and reading this thread--I was almost in tears after seeing the pictures of Grenada. Statia, I pray that you're safe with Jeanne--can't believe another one--that one slipped under my radar. My husband and I wish we were free to personally volunteer in affected areas; at the moment all we can donate is money. I've thought of Red Cross or UMCOR (United Methodist Council On Relief)--any other one you would recommend where you know the money would be used wisely?
My prayers are with all those in the current path and those still in clean up.
